In this fine franchise of a point and click puzzler, you must find the key for the level to move onto the next level. Pretty simple sounding-but wait, there’s more! Actually no there isn’t. Every level has a different task to complete to find the key some are very simple in nature some require a little skill, and most require patience to complete.
Pros: Not too easy, not too hard. Replayability-you can play the game more than once and not play the same game-that’s just like a nice refreshing glass of 7-UP. Does anyone even drink that anymore? It does offer a level guide to help you on the rare occasion you get stuck-I have to confess-I was trapped on level 5-word puzzles elude me-what can I say?
Music was pleasant for background-it didn’t add or subtract from the overall playability. Graphics were so so, but like the music didn’t hurt the enjoyment of the game itself.
Cons: Not too hard, not too soft-yes it is possible to have a pro be a con-while the game isn’t very challenging and makes you feel like you’re accomplishing something, the ease of some of the levels made me feel like my kids should have been playing Me and the Key 2 instead of me-but perhaps that audience is their target?
Level 17 was a nice challenge-not tough, but it did require good mouse skills to complete. 22 was similar in that it was a skill game more than anything and required a bit of patience to get through. Not hard-just time consuming.
All in all it was a well made game worth the time involved.
I enjoyed it 3/5 Bgames stars.
