Zombies Took My Daughter is a well-crafted survival game with a lot of little details and great game play. Your goal is to search the city for your lost daughter, killing any zombies that get in you way while saving any survivors. There’s a ton of weapons to find, and great soundtrack that makes this game stand out as one of the best zombie games around. There are even a couple different breeds of zombie that are stronger and faster than the average brainless meat bag. The map is randomly generated so you get a different city each time, which is a really neat concept that adds replay value. As you explore different areas of the map you get clues about where your daughter could be, and you find others who are fighting their way back to safety, and they will join you until you lead them to a subway station. Some areas have special quest where you have to collect food, or take down a dangerous convict, and there is a timer so if you dilly-dally for too long the rescue ship will leave with out you.
This game does everything right and combines a creepy atmosphere with a bit of humor to make something really special. There’s no saving, so you’d better make your run in one sitting, and once I found that my daughter just happened to be right outside the first area, so that was a pretty quick game. But they can last as long as you keep exploring, and don’t run out of time. Zombies Took My Daughter is a game that you just have to play through at least once, and after that you’re bound to be coming back for more.
I give it 5 Bgames stars out of 5.
