Zombie Bites is an addictive zombie game, where you play as the firstzombie and try to see how many points you can score by creating the biggest zombie hoard possible. You can run, jump and bite your way to this army but you have to be careful to keep from dying of hunger. If you create too many zombies at once, nice fresh humans will become scarce and they your only source of food. It gets tricky, and you can’t just run around biting every human you see if you want to make a sustainable world to gobble flesh in. It’s a fun premise, but since the idea is to last as long as possible it can get a little stale during longer runs. There are different character skins for each human, and their resulting zombie, but there are now power ups or upgrades to let you spawn even more dangerous creatures. There are soldiers that will be your only challenge, but one kind of enemy just isn’t enough. If there would more upgrades and more challenges then this game would be a ton of fun, and one of the best new zombie games. It’s still a fun little time waster, but it feels like a shame that so much potential was wasted. The addition of new levels would have also been a good touch, and it would have allowed the game to introduce the other new elements gradually. There’s still plenty of fun to be had in this version of the game, but if you’re just sick of zombie games you might want to just wait for the sequel. If the zombie fever is something you just can’t get enough of then hop right in and have some fun with this neat, accessible zombie game.
