Truck Loader is a simple puzzle game that has players load trucks with a special wood magnet machine. While other puzzle games allow players, and in some cases force, to think outside of the box, Truck Loader forces the player to think inside the box, thus making some parts of the game frustrating and tricky as you try to be a daredevil but it just won’t work. For a puzzle game, the game gets very frustrating when the arm doesn’t move the way you want it to. The way the arm moves is very tricky and can leave players frustrated and wanting to kick something, definitely the main problem with the game. The introduction of new ways you’re forced to load the trucks, players are left in misery as they are forced to endure more and more time consuming arm movements. Unlike other puzzle games, this game allows you to think about what you’re going to do and save a considerable amount of time or dive in and get angry. Another thing about this game is that the physics are extremely awkward. Players can ram boxes and they will get pushed into a box, only to get rejected and pushed out. This allows players to move boxes around in ways they shouldn’t be allowed to.
Overall this game is really only for those people who enjoy puzzles games. There are a lot of minor problems which probably won’t get fixed, but the game has its own unique pizzazz. With the gameplay being awkward, this is a great game for people who like to play all of the puzzle games they can. Otherwise I’d suggest not playing it because it is too frustrating. If you don’t mind getting frustrated to work your way to the very end, go for it and have my luck.
