if you liked canabalt, 1 level, or any other running game you love Treadmillasaurus Rex. games that keep everything simple are often among the best games to play. what's more basic then putting at t rex in a top hat on a pair of treadmills with laser beams and falling obstacles? just a normal everyday kinda thing right? simple controls mean nothing to overthink or over correct. Music is like a late night rave, all uhn-tis uhn-tis uhn-tis uhn-tis, very exciting. Graphics are also...simple-but hey, look on the brighter side, you're free to marvel at the dazzling light display that adds to the discotech ambience. Game play is really pretty simple as well, use the arrow keys to control your dinosaur as he runs on the treadmills avoiding falling spikes, moving lasers and whatever else comes your way. Every few seconds the wheel o' fun will spin and give you an opportunity to face more difficult challenges like changing treadmill speeds, direction, and added obstacles. Great times were had by all.unless youre a t rex being smacked by a spikey ball.Pros: the game is fun, it's a unique spin on an existing platform. I like the cheesiness of the character and the background. The music is comical for the setting. You can even compare your times against others, a Treadmillasaurus Rex measuring contest if you will. What's not to like? Well, I'm about to tell you.Cons: Without the wheel, the game would be boring. Even then it doesn't take long to become a little tedious. Same with the music, as exciting as it may be up front, hearing any repetitive beat will wipe out eden the most dedicated of ravers. All in all, a decent play worth 30 mins of runtime, any more . . . meh.
