Once you had it all... Money, power, women... But after a bad night in Vegas you are back where you started, angry and ready to get your empire and fortune back. This intro might not win the Nobel Prize in Literature but nevertheless... Welcome to The Store, not your ordinary retail store management game.
Your goal is to own a Level 3 store and earn $20,000 in the least number of days possible. At your disposal you will find 8 different Items, 3 stores, 2 types of people, 4 types of Advertisements, 4 Levels of Cashier Training, Dynamically generated people properties, complex pricing system and various statistics. If this interests you, let’s dive in further!
A tutorial is available that teaches the basics. Once you’re done with that, all that remains is investing, restocking, advertising and expanding your empire to reach the ultimate goal! The game basically consists of two phases - preparing the store by investing in games (and setting their pmanarices), cashier training or buying additional stores and then real-time management of the store as you open it and then see if the pricing was well chosen, the cashier is fast enough and in addition to that you can also spot thieves to collect a reward. Enough to keep you busy!
While visually it ain’t anything too impressive, it’s really not necessary to understand and easily find everything you need to do in it. The music fits the background rather well but gets a bit repetitive after a while and another thing I could complain about (and maybe it’s just something that I personally find annoying) would be the lousy grammar in several places.
If this is your type of a game then give it a shot and chances are you will enjoy it.
