Swift Turn is a switch puzzler, where you must collect stars pubefore progressing to the next level, avoiding spikes and falling off the map. Switch puzzler may be somewhat inaccurate; I guess it would be more appropriate to call it a gravity puzzler. The difficulty in classifying this game comes from the fact that on several levels you don’t need to rotate the level to complete it-in other puzzles of the same kind; it’s practically a necessity to flip gravity at least twice before completing the level. Now you see the problem-as minor as that is, the game was some fun, I liked the physics after switching gravity, the art design was simple but pleasing, and the game play wasn’t monotonous, as many games of this genre tend to be.
Pros: Music for the second game in a row for me, the music was a focal point in the game and made it more enjoyable, this is a precedent. If the rest of the games coming out are following this trend, then I am truly excited about the next few months of gaming. I could listen to the intro music indefinitely-it’s that good! Game play was kind to the user, no random flips off the grid. Graphics were okay, appropriate for the genre-see Wake the King as a reference point.
Cons: If it weren't for the music I would have stopped playing after the 5th level. Games like this in general simply seem to get boring relatively quickly. Other than that I had no real complaints. It’s decent to pass the time, but I wouldn't invest more than 30 minutes into it if I weren’t looking for enough material to write about.
All in all a mediocre play made better by audio.
Swift Turn gets 3.5 Bgames stars (1 point for the music)
