It's that special time of the year, the snow is falling, the skies are lit and there's that special feeling in the air- Christmas time!
When December 25th approaches we can see the online games sites suddenly filled with elfs, deers and of course santas. As you might guess many developers want to join the party, which usually results in poor execution, from time to time a high-quality Christmas game appears, this is the exact story of our Christmas favorite- Starlight Xmas.
The game-play is quite simpla and very similar to the previous starlight game, your task is moving the stars until you create a dazzling start image that has relevance to the topic. As you might guess Starlight Xmas features many Christmas-themed images, like Santa's hat, angels, snow-flakes and many more.
While the game -play is quite simple and is done by using the mouse, the difficutly level is quite hard. I must admit i used the walk-through already in the third level, but afterwards the game went lot smoother.
The biggest advantage of Starlight Xmas is the atmosphere it delivers, the grpaphics is basic but delivers the Christmas spirit and the sound is charming, even though it is quite reptitive.
The game consists of 30 levels and it seems the difficutly is not advancing in a linear way as some early levels are quite hard ( level 3 for instance) while more advanced levels, like level 13 were quite easy in my eyes.
Al in all Starlight Xmas is an addictive, little casual game, it is quite easy to learn but pretty hard to complete. It features 30 levels with dazzling graphics and even though the game-play is similar it doesn't really bore you.
