Sniper Assassin: Final is a stick figure style sniping and the last in long library of impressive sniper titles. This new edition offers the most variety in missions, including a really fun stealth mission where you have to shoot certain parts of the environment to make sure your kills go unnoticed. It has dark and “trying super hard” to be badass style that makes it almost humorous at times because it’s all just stick figures. The game play is smooth, and for a sniping game it offers a lot of challenge and variety. Some of the missions are really trail and error based challenge, and the stealth mission really stands out as the most unique, and fun. The game has no save feature, but the level passwords are easy enough to remember, and the game is fairly short so you won’t really miss it. I felt there were a few issues, like the fact you can only shoot the enemies in the head, and often they will hide behind cover with their head peeking out just a bit, but you can’t seem to hit that either. It’s a little frustrating that you can only hit the stick figures where and when the game wants you to, but once you realize this is the case it’s easy enough to get over.
The story is sufficient, if not a bit over the top and with the short length it doesn’t exactly have a chance to get obnoxious. Besides, for the people that are into it, there are plenty of other chapters to run through before this final installment. In the end it’s a solid sniper game, in a field that has a surprising lack quality games. If you want to blow stick men’s brains out this is the perfect game, and if you’re just looking for a sniper fix than it’s a nice choice for that as well. I give Sniper Assassin: Final 3.5 stars out of 5.
