Escape games, one of the most diverse trends on the online games today. Those challenging puzzle games come in various shapes and sizes, from the simplest form ( For instance Desert escape) to more complex games with rich plot and graphical world ( Like the widely popular game Fog Fall 3).
On Sneak Thief: Prime catch, we will partake the part of a sneaky little thief on a quest to retrieve the lost inventions of Professor Bellamy.
After a nice opening short movie, we will find ourselves, like all classic escape games, located in an unknown room filled with various objects, some are hidden and some are revealed.
The game requires lots of patience and like many escape games we will "comb" the area searching for hidden objects. The good news are that most of the items aren't hidden that well, and using the walkthrough might not be needed.
One of the most appealing features of the game is its original graphics. For some reason the game graphics really reminded me of the famous Inspector Clouseau from the Pink Panther films, the game sounds are very nice and the features some funny animations.
When compared to other escape games the challenge level is located at the mid part, as some of the puzzles took some time to grasp, for instance the fact that we can use the knife several times during the game.
All in all Sneak Thief: Prime catch is a short, but fun escape game, it is professionaly built and well-drawn, and it's doing its job quite well as a nice time-killer.
Pros- Great graphics, nice sound effects, well-balanced riddles.
Cons- Very short, one room to solve, but as we can understand the game will offer more sequels.
