Platforms, pixel enemies and one robot that is looking for some love and affection, this is the main story of Robot Wants Fishy.
After acquiring a kitty and a puppy, our affectionate robotic friend decided his next target, a fish of course!
As you might guess the road to getting a fish will be filled with adventures, obstacles, platforms and many ruthless enemies that will stop at nothing to prevent Robot getting to his beloved fish.
Robot Wants Fishy is another example to the growing use of retro graphics and music on flash games ( you can see nice examples to this genre on Color Theory, Super PSTW, Give up,Robot and many more on our retro section) .
As always retro games offer gaming and art that is highly liked by some gamers, but not by all, so if this is not your cup of tea do not approach this game.
The controls are quite simple, walking and jumping is made by using the arrow keys, actions ( when available is being made with the X key), so getting into the game can be done quite smoothly.
Unlike many games, Robot Wants Fishy is is made like one big level, and not divided to many levels, which has its ups and downs.
As always, "Robot Wants..." games has lots of enemies, some smart traps and one thing is for sure, it wont let you down ( As long you're a retro fan).
To summarise this is another fine game from the saga, but to be frank even with added enemies and some nice touches, it's beginning to get little repetitive and most sagas end at number 3...so let's stay tuned.
Pros- lovely retro art, easy and fun game-play.
Cons- The saga is getting a little repetitive.
4 out of 5 Bgames stars.
