When i first saw the title- Roadkill Revenge, I thought to myself- How much damage can a roadkill cause? Little I knew this game is all about damage, lots of it!
Roadkill Revenge is generally a chain reaction game, with a twist, an explosive one.
The main objective is blowing up stuff, mainly cars and causing as much damage possible.
I must admit that Roadkill is a pretty addictive game. The difficulty curve is quite easy at first, a fact the helps most gamers getting addicted quite fast.
Each level offers 3 challenges- A main one that must be completed and 2 bonus ones, that add another flavor ( and replay value).
Graphically speaking, Roadkill Revenge is done very tastefully. The graphics is pretty impressive and the explosions are a sight for sore eyes. The sound is also pretty impressive and the first rule of a good chain reaction game ( make it look good and feel good) has been done on this game.
The game offers 45 levels, and just when you think Roadkill becomes monotonous, the game features several twists ( wait for levels 25 and 28).
Even though I really liked Roadkill Revenge, 2 things that could really boost the game-play and are missing are upgrades and scores.
Regarding upgrades, on such a game that revolves around money ( many goals are causing collateral damage) adding an option to buy cool upgrades, could really spice up the game-play.
Just imagine the game-play with bigger cars, an option to launch several cars at once or even adding explosives to your car, sounds delicious...
Regarding high-scores an option to measure your performance using scores could increase the playblity, as gamers will play again and again trying to achieve the perfect score.
All in all Roadkill Revenge is an addictive chain reaction game, with great graphics and an explosive twist.
4/5 Bgames stars
