Everyone loves distance games, it does not matter if they happen on water ( Johnny Deep), on air ( Hedgehog Launch 2) or on underground ( Megadrill) they are usually extremely addictive.
Most distance game require us, the gamers to help the main character achieve the longest distance, never matter if it is up, down or to the sides.
Over the Border is an extremely funny Distance/launch game, your goal is helping a cute Bandito jump over the mexican border in order to earn lots of green dollars. As you might guess, you will have to overcome many border patrols on your way to American freedom.
Over the Border is a fun distance game that combines all the regular features that other distance games have, but also adds shooting and slow motions into the dish.
The game play is quite simple- You have an iron anvil, throw it on the trampoline and of you go! During your flight you will have the option to rotate the character ( done with the keys Q and E) and also speed/slow down your jump by using the A and D keys. Unlike most distance games, once you jump the game only begins and you have plenty of things to do whilst in the air, shooting cops, aiming at targets and overcoming other animals that might interfere in your way.
I found the game to be quite addictive and inspiring. The upgrades were pretty cool, you can upgrade your weaponry abilities by buying weapons amd armor, add some style by buying hats and even taking your Mexican bandit to a gym.
All in all Over the Border is a fun,casual game, the only downside is that after 20+ launches the game becomes a little repetitive. Adding more enemy types or obstacles could make your way to the border a little more interesting.
