Can you complete a retro/medieval adventure using only 1 button? Ask Bob, sorry King Arthur...
You might remember this cool "1 click button adventure" when playing One Button Bob or Nano Ninja. Well the concept is clear, you take a hero, add in some retro graphics, cool 8-bit music, and vuala- One button adventure is born!
Well, it might sound simple, but like all one button adventures this game offers lots more than meets the eye, this game is extremely smart, very fun to play and of course highly addictive, its simple game-play just makes it more enjoyable.
The story evolves around British King Arthur that used to rule in the risky medieval times, where death always lurked around the corner.
On your way to kingdom King Arthur must surpass platforms, fire traps dangerous critters and of course lots of fun, retro adventures.
The control in the game is very simple to learn and use, you will run, duck, jump and fight using only 1 button- The mouse button.
The game features a wide variation of screens which offers different tasks- On some levels you will jump through platforms, on others you will stop your character at the correct time to avoid a violent death and on several other different levels you will lead King Arthur to battle using his trusty sword.
While all levels offers different challenges, they all have one similar pattern, they are extremely fun and very easy to learn.
While the game itself is easy to master, some levels offer a high level of skill to pass, like the saying goes- Timing is of the essence.
To summarize One Button Arthur is a fun little retro game that will keep you glues to the screen until the adventure is over, enjoy!
Pros- Easy to learn, addictive and simple game-play.
Cons- Gets repetitive from time to time and does not offer a very different game-play from the previous one button games.
4 out of 5 Bgames stars.
