There are many genres in the online games world- Skill, platforms, puzzle, physics but up until now i haven't seen many games that mange to fit all those niches in one online game-Nimball: rewind definitely does the trick.
Nimball: rewind evolves around a small metallic ball that tries to find his way out in a world that is consisted of 30 challenging levels.
On our way out we will stumble upon static and moving platforms, holes, laser death-rays and various traps.
To complete our missions, we have 3 abilities on our disposal- Our jumping ability, puzzle solving and the most important of one- Time rewind.
Even though we have seen time-rewinding in prior games ( Prince Of Persia- The Forgotten Sands, for instance), Nimball executes this ability in a very smooth way, and makes trial and error a fluent part of the game.
No doubt that the rewinding option makes the game a lot smoother and easier for gamers.
On the less better side, when getting used to the ability, the game begins to be quite mechanic and less challenging, as the gamer jump fearlessly into the traps without the risk of dying.
All in all, Nimball: Rewind is a very fun platform game. Some levels require plain skill and other demand the use of other objects, like dragging blocks to operate switches.
My main complaint regarding Nimball is that with a little more work, it could become a much better game. The graphics and art could definitely be improved, and the movement of the ball could be a lot more smooth, a thing that would increase the level of game-play.
Nimball: Rewind is a very nice game, that had the potential to become lots more- 4 out of 5 Bgames stars
