Magnetic Rush is a very unique puzzle game where you control two rolling magnets. You can make them attract or repulse each other and the goal is to get them both to the safe points that will win you the level, while using the least amount of time and energy possible. The puzzles are devious and the learning curve ramps up quickly. You start by simply pushing the magnets back and forth, but later levels will force you to push them up and down as well. This is were things really get interesting and also tricky. Having to repel one magnet into the air requires precision and a mastery of the game’s control system. Casual fans may get frustrated by this, but if you’re a physic game fanatic you have to try this one. It’s worth taking the time to master this game so you can get to all the other perplexing puzzles and conquer them. They offer unique challenges that give you a real sense of accomplishment when you finish them.
The game play is smooth and the levels are varied and numerous. This style of game play is pretty to new to field as well. It’s a combination of a physics and puzzle game with a magnetic twist, and Magnetic Rush pulls it off perfectly. It really makes you think logically about each puzzle, without making you frustrated by having to have perfect timing. There are multiple ways to solve each puzzle, which is always a nice touch and adds some replay value. The game also has a complex grading system the scores your progress based on what level you beat, how much magnetic energy you used and what your time to solve the puzzle was.
