Lucky Tower puts you in command of a hero in a choose-your-own-adventure setting where you have to find the safest path to freedom. I LOVE THIS GAME! first off, I’ve always been a huge dork for CYOA games-putting the joy of reading and the risk of deciding your fate-whlat’s not to love!?! But in a triumph in Flash Game programming we have the best of two worlds one Lucky Tower.

Essentially, you choose which door to take or which action to perform and the outcome is decided based on that decision. Every floor of the tower offers 3 choices with some gruesome death behind 2 of the 3 options and the path to the next level behind the third. Occasionally, there are one or two clues to offer some assistance in the process. Mostly it’s just luck or process of elimination to find the right door. You may have to fight off some goblins, smack a wizard upside the head or dodge snail eating piranha once you have crossed on through, but there is much more to this game than just the concept itself.

“Slashy slashy” the voice acting isn’t stellar in itself but what’s said makes all the difference in the world-if you happen to be a fan of Bruce Campbell or the Doom fps games, then you’ll appreciate our hero’s quips as he waves his dead rat around.

“Ah, Lunch-time” Not everything in the game is what it seems and it’s well worth your time to play through after solving to milk all the juicy tidbits out of it. Every death scene is comical, and not all choices are static. I have a sneaking suspicion there’s more than one ending as well.

“You have chosen wisely” One aspect of the game I appreciate the most is the simple fact regarding your death and not having to restart the entire game-once you’ve clearly made a poor decision you can restart right before your demise.

A fantastic game-I look forward to a franchise developing 5/5 Bgames stars!
