The online difference games niche has really evolved over the years. This type of games that started as a collection of static images evolved into full length games, some of them containing amazing features, like high quality graphics, sounds and even alternate endings, Robin Hood - A Twisted Fairytale is a great example.
Lilith and Emma: It's Valentine day, is simpler than Robin hood, but even though its simplistic game-play, it features a lovely story with cute characters, a fact that appeals to all ages and gamers.
The story deals with 2 BFF's Lilith and Emma, and their strong friendship. Firstly we meet Emma that decided to show her love to Lilith by buying her a wonderful Valentin'es gift.
Except the lovely story-line and sweet graphics, the game features 3 different difficulties. The easy one is aimed for casual gamers of younger kids, as it features a small number of differences, most of them could be traced quite easily. On normal mode we will encounter a larger number of differences, some of them could be quite challenging. The last and most challenging difficulty is Harder Mode, that really takes your difference spotting abilities to the limit. While playing easy mode didn't made me click even once on the hints, normal mode was finished by using hints from time to time. After completing the game on both modes, i decided to challenge myself with the harder mode, and here, I must add, the hint system was crucial when trying to discover the big number of differences that were well hidden.
To sum it up Lilith and Emma: It's Valentine day is a nice difference game, it holds no amazing features or special game-play but it's well-written and pleasantly designed for grown-ups and kids.
