Legend of the Golden Robot Is a great RPG with unique exploration elements that make it a really compelling and addictive flash game. Each level is a grid where you can move around, dig for treasure and fight goblins, elves and orcs for your finds. Some of the treasures you can find will just give you money, but others can be used as special weapons and armor. You can also buy new items at the shop, and gamble at the inn. This is a really classic set up for an RPG, with a bit of different setting. You’re more of an Indian Jones type in the fantasy setting, which is light hearted and fun to explore. You earn gold through fighting, digging or gambling, and each level after the first costs money to go visit, so you have to be mindful of your funds or you could end up having to grind for enough money to make a certain trip. This can be a frustrating element to the game, but it also adds urgency and sense of accomplishment to the game. Plus if you’re feeling saucy you can always gamble your last ten bucks on a game of “shove” where you slide hay pennies across a barroom table to earn points and beat your opponent. The minigame and set up of this RPG make it wildly addictive, and one of the best flash RPGs around. There are tons of unique treasures to be found, and lots of different items. With all the variety and the solid game play this should have even hardcore RPG fans coming back for more and more. The simple game play, kooky setting and hilarious humor will please those who aren’t so deeply committed to their RPGs. Legend of the Golden Robot has something for everyone, and I give it 5 Bgames stars out of 5!
