Interlocked is truly and amazing puzzle game. It takes real world block puzzles and digitizes them and you find the solution to unravel the puzzles. All 20 puzzles are 3D and fully interactive, allowing you to rotate the image and manipulate the pieces on an XYZ axis. The controls are very simple and the user interface is clean with vibrant graphics. The only suggestion I would give is to put a little texture into the puzzle pieces, but not having it doesn’t prevent enjoyment of the game itself. There are two game modes, normal and challenge play. Normal has no time limits or restrictions on the number of moves, it’s mano y puzzle. Period. Challenge mode rates your solution skilss with stars, the fewer moves it takes to you complete the puzzle the better rating you receive. I think this mode is slightly flawed as all the puzzles require at least 2 moves and any more than one automatically reduces your rank to four stars. It is a small matter considering the overall challenge of the game and finding solutions in the shortest path possible. The music is pleasant background noise that amazingly refrains from distracting from the game play. The first 13 levels are not easy but not impossible to solve, I can say that most just require a moment to rotate the puzzle a few times and get all angles in mind before you begin the solution. The 14thhowever was quite the challenge and I can say it was the one puzzle that I restarted several times after trapping myself with no apparent answers. I would say there may be a few replayability options in Interlocked aside from the challenge mode. If for no other reason to make sure solving the game wasn’t a fluke. Playing Interlocked from start to finish made me feel actually smarter and leaving with a sense of accomplishment, which is a rarity in any game, let alone the flash group.
All in all-a phenomenal game-5/5 Bgames stars!
