You’ve been struck by a meteor as your traveling though space on your way home and become stranded on the planet Insidia. You have to survive and gather enough repair kits to fix your ship and head home.

a is a platformer in line with KOLM not complex but a very enjoyable gaming experience. The controls couldn’t be more basic, and no fringe elements-no weapons, jetpacks etc. There are 4 powerups: Speed, Jump, doublejump, and wall climb. No additional buttons required to use them-but they make the game much more fun when you get them-especially the wall climb. You will find placed throughout the game save points that will allow you to restart from that point if you are killed by industrial fans or rabid wolves? It’s tough to tell what the baddies are, but rest assured, they’re out there. The most convenient is the teleport option, press ‘T’ to transport back to your ship-which is at the center of the game grid. Nice, eh?

Pros: It’s just easy fun! Music fits the game mood very well and is engaging background music. There are plenty of secret corners to explore making the game worth playing through at least twice to see both endings.

Cons: It’s almost too easy-just running through the levels will net you the repair kits you seek so there’s too little challenge from the hunt itself. You can only play it through twice, after that it just becomes boring. :(

SPOILER!! The two endings are as follows:
1: Running through the game and collecting only repair kits you manage to repair your ship and leave-then it is swallowed by an ancient evil living within the planet itself.
2: If you collect all the kits and flip all the hidden switches, you’ll activate the missile defense system and escape to safety as the evil is destroyed.

All in all Insidia is a good short game-I hope to see sequels -4/5 Bgames stars
