Epic Combo Is a simple yet addictive game, with a whacky premise and straightforward game play. Your goal is earn a 10,000 hit combo by launching helpless turtles into a chamber of pain that you create yourself. You can install turrets, buzz saws and launcher as well as number of other nasty devices to keep they turtle shells bouncing so that your combo can get up as fast as possible. Can also increase the speed at which the turtles pour out of their valves, so that you can launch more of them in the first hit. You swing your hammer and pop the turtles into the air where they will bounce into the elements you put down, and depending on how well you’ve placed them. The actual game play is simple enough, but the strategy comes in putting down the traps so you can earn the epic combo with the least amount of money spent.
Increasing the turtle flow is always a good bet, because more turtles means higher combos, but you also need launchers to keep the shells flowing back into the ring of pain that racks up the big numbers. I would have liked to the see the ability to upgrade the hammer so it did more splash damage, but this is one of those games that purely addictive. You can beat it pretty quickly, but you’ll want to try again and again to see just how fast you get the epic combo. It’s a lot of fun to design your own area for the shells to bounce in, and it keeps things interesting to try and use different elements to get the best combos as fast as possible. It can get a little tedious after a while, but it’s still one of those great time wasting games, and people who hate turtles will go crazy for this one.
I give Epic Combo a 3.5 Bgames Stars out of 5.
