Carveola Incident is an action-packed shooting defense game, with lots of interesting twists. You play the role of Sgt. Kirley, a soldier that was stuck in an intensive battle that turned out to a survival match against flesh-eating zombies.
The game play reminded me of the good old classic Last Stand , one of the most intensive online zombie shooting games. Similar to last stand The view is facing toward your enemies, and your enemies will come from the horizon closing at you at a very fast rate.
The game control are pretty straight-forward as you aim and shoot using the mouse, reloading is done by clicking the R key, and from here and on it is you against the hordes.
The lovely twist of the game is adding other soldiers to your aid. While adding up to 20 soldiers is a big help, you will still need to show your sniping abilities to survive the game on advanced levels.
Either than soldiers Carveola Incident allows you the option to upgrade your weapons and artilleries, but i got the feeling the more upgrades could be handy.
While the game is pretty addictive and fun to play, there are several elements that could improve it. I found the enemy soldiers ( zombies) quite linear and better animation could really boost the overall feeling.
Another thing I disliked is the option to shoot different parts of the zombie for better reality shots. While head-shots delivered a deadly outcome , usually resulting in submitting your foe, shooting the leg did not deliver slowing or hurting the zombies.
All in all Carveola Incident is a pretty nice defense shooter, there are plenty of enemies to kill and the black and white feeling delivers the message.
