A point and click level puzzler, Bustabrain is a brain teaser as you struggle through 36 levels to solve the game in as few clicks as you can manage (mine was 284). Levels vary in theme, but here’s a sample: unscramble the words, geographic connect the point puzzles, etc. They all are simple logic puzzles and the programmers are so kind as to give offer up at least one hint on every level to solve their riddles.
Pros: The game is fun, the music is entertaining, some of the puzzles are very difficult-but not impossible. I had a great time playing this through twice-the second was to see how good a score I could get (the first pass netted me over 1500 clicks, pathetic, I know).
Cons: The only complaint I have with games like this are the limited playability. If you solve it in the first pass, there’s rarely a need to go a second time.
My favorite is level 14-nomnomnom
SPOILERS!!! here are hints to the most difficult levels:
Level 26: Search the bookcase, then go in order; 1,2,3
Level 28: The answer is “TWO” remove 8 sticks to spell it out.
Level 32: Don’t click the red numbers-look below them.
Level 38: West, North, East, South. (I can’t give it all away, right?)
If you still need the walkthrough after those hints, perhaps this isn’t your kind of game?
I challenge you to beat my score though-I’ve only seen one lower so far and it took him 3 tries to get it-good luck!
All in all-good game, I enjoyed the challenges very much as well as the original concepts-while the game itself isn’t.
