We all remember the first Bubblequod game, it was an original, challenging game and like every good franchise it is time to say hello to the second part- Bubblequod 2.
Bubbles...those little bubbly things keep on occupying us in almost every form, especially on games.
The game evolves around the story of Sam and William, two brothers that work in a rubber duck toys factory, it seems that working in the factory requires special bubble-wear to protect them from poisonous environment.
The game objective is rescuing Sam that disappeared somewhere in the mysterious factory, as you might already guessed this factory is not a nice place to be lost at.
The movement is made by the arrows or WASD keys and you can also use the space key to switch between characters. All in all the controls are quite convenient and no special problem was detected.
The game-play itself consists around dodging obstacles and challenges like acid pools, switches, and rotating mazes.
The game begins very simple with one character playing, all you have to do is direct him to the exit zone. As you advance to higher levels the game-play becomes more challenging and random jumping could not lead you to safety, in those levels we will make use of the mouse to widen the screen, the game really takes up a notch when you are finally united with your brother Sam, as you have the option of jumping between characters.
All in all Bubblequiod 2 is a nice game with lots of challenging platforming and riddles, it is slightly easier than the first game and offers some nice options like character switching.
All in all Bubblequod 2 is a nice game, with a cool dark atmosphere, the only "bad" thing to say, is that this game doesn't offer something we haven't already seen on previous games.
