Some games take only a few minutes before they lure you in, Amea is one of those game.
With great art, that includes mesmerizing flash graphics and dazzling sounds, Amea gets you into the adventure quite fast.
The game tells the story of the island Lockmarne, an island with a rich history that is now a place of death and pain.
On the you will partake the role of a lady that awakens from a weird dream with amnesia, your goal,of course, is to find out what the hell is going on.
The game is a classic fantasy horror game, with lots of creatures and gruesome images ( not recommended for the younger ones), and if you're into deep atmosphere adventure games, Amea is the exact game for you. While it might be kinda confusing at first, the game gets on trail quite fast and the adventure steps up.
one of the most enjoyable features of the game is the battling system, that allows to control very nice combo moves by only using the arrows and ASD keys. During the game you will gather items, learn spells and collect potions that will help empower your character, leveling up is also included and your hero will become quite powerful as the game advances.
Few things could be improved in the game are the skill menu, that could use a mouse instead of arrows, it's quite tedious browsing all your items with the arrows. Little tweaking could be used for several spells that are a little over-powered and basically i felt the battles were a little easy.
Nevertheless Amea is a top-notch adventure game, the graphics is great, the sounds are creepy and no doubt it's one of the better adventure game i encountered so far.
